Considering becoming a supporter so I can have my own custom domain, with the neocities; my only worry is, would this break all the links on my site that already use the .neocities domain? Because I can't imagine trying to patch all that up across 50+ pages.

It's good practice to not type your full URL while linking to a page within your site. That being said, Neocities redirects your old domain to your current one :)

Is there a notable reason why using the full URL is a bad idea? I've just done it out of habit + I'm not super well versed in coding or anything. But otherwise, if I switch over and go through the process of having a custom domain, it should all just work?

The reason why you should type «/page.html» or similar instead of «domain.com/page.html» is precisely because sometimes sites go through domain changes. I just checked with my own website, and the pages still get linked correctly.

The reason why my old URL links to my current domain is because Neocities has that feature, a lot of webhosts don't.
