Anyone know why/when they increased filetype restrictions for new users? Twice now I've talked with NC users who made sites in 2023 or more recently that have problems hosting files or using code that I've had no problem with as a free user. It's kind of messing me up lol

The GG masterpost page is such a damn nightmare spaghetti pile of code. I'm gonna have to learn some heavy shit and fix that some day before I go mad

It started as a page I 100% coded, but then I decided to move the masterpost from Tumblr onto here and just copy-pasted the HTML from that post and cleaned it up a bit. It's like 3 different sources of code in a trench coat

@controlcoreangel I peeked at it once to get a better idea of how iframes worked and I was definitely in over my head hahah The end results can't be argued with though, it looks good!

Added some stuff to the Masterpost, cleaned up the updatearchive, cleaned up the CSS a bit, added scrollbar code for Firefox

they changed the filetype restriction like a month or two ago? i mean my site was made in 2023 and i haven't seen any crazy restrictions besides .swf files or something, but it's so weird to me that they even did that
i know convos abt it started springing up a few months ago but maybe i'm out of the loop and it's been like this longer than i thought
@makoenergy - That's nuts. I know they had some issues with people using this platform for nefarious shit, but it's crazy they restricted what free users can do as a whole...
