thank you!! I love the wood wide web, and what a lovely concept to describe your site!!
hehehe thank you!! I'm so glad, the silica gel is genuinely one of my favourite things on my site so im delighted it made you laugh. I just feel like the page might get a bit damp with that background yknow??
new art in the gallery! including easy keeper by emily palmquist which ohhhh if only I had 7 grand to spend on art right now...
have also added a science section, which might be interesting to some people?? But mostly it's for fun. You can take the girl out of the science outreach programme...
the science section is very much interesting to me and i will be browsing it expeditiously!!
the zoology section is probably the most interesting, if only because you'll get to see the phrase "penis-jousting" at least once
woah hello, and a fellow biology grad too!!! ooh thank you for the reccomendation, I've had Babel on the tbr for a while but maybe I should make a real effort to go read it!
@katbots what are the chances!! I'm still looking for a job, I graduated before this summer- my partner lives in a small town in Noord Holland so there aren't that many opportunities (and I have to deal with some paperwork and health insurance stuff beforehand I think). Babel is so good, Poppy War was very interesting, but at times very tough to get through, and overall enthralled me a bit less, still a good read tho
ooh ouch yeah I imagine jobs can be hard to find if you're not in a city! I have put off having to think about jobs by doing a masters (แต-แด-) ah good luck with Dutch bureaucracy, I hope it goes smoothly! yeah I read poppy wars and enjoyed it, but never picked up the sequel, for no particular reason.I'll be happy if Babel is a smoother/more engrossing read!
also if you're even down in Ams with a free afternoon sometime, let me know if you'd like to go for a coffee!!
@katbots yeah if I really can't find a good Biology job within a year or so, I'll go for a Masters, but I'm so burnt out from academia I don't want to consider it yet. I live like 30min on the train from Ams so absolutely I would love to! Rn I'm back in Spain for some doc appointments but I'm hoping to be back in the Netherlands by the end of October, I'll let you know!
i would sign up without hesitation if only i weren't being consumed by exams ( ;-;)7
I am interested ๐ I played one other solo ttrpg before, Apawthecaria, and really enjoyed it (it is SO cute). Koriko has been on my radar for some time!
@notes oh haha honestly me too, this probably won't be a thing that I have time to organise until sometime in October (แต-แด-) @magpie amazing! I'll have to check it out, i have just discovered the genre today and i am sooo excited by the possibilities
I've been eyeing Koriko for so long !! Solo RPGs are my favourite thing ever. Can I join ?
you know exams are coming up when i suddenly want to work on my site.. anyway no major updates planned bc even tho i have a great desire to make new pages but no idea what. will have to go inspiration hunting i think
no fr, as soon as I need to lock in for school, i have all the energy to work on coding QAQ
thank you!! also omg hi fellow infectious disease enthusiast with a weak consitution!
thank you :))
