was dumped last week (after 8 years! wow!) and classes are starting up so will probably be quiet here for a little while. BUT if anyone has poems/ book reccomendations that vibe with a "this is the worst but it's for the best" break up, I would be grateful for suggestions! Wanna read some words that crack me open and soothe me.
as for poetry recs: "Modern Love" (John Keats); "the smell" (Emelihter Kihleng); "A Pity, We Were Such a Good Invention" (Yehuda Amichai); and "The Glass Essay" (Anne Carson). last one's a long one, good for sipping canto by canto, stanza by stanza.
