the thing i like the most about my website gotta be the wii cursor. underneath its not that impressive but man i got it feeling so authentic. you can even hold B (right click) to scroll

It's unusual but I dig it. I feel it encourages webmasters to interact more between each other. Most normal visitors wont even see these interactions I think.

signed up for netlify. instantly suspended for suspicious activity. now they want me to either give them my government id and let them hold onto it, or contact support. so i contacted support

looking into alternatives, and neocities supporter seems like the best deal? github and glitch has 1gb or less. netify, vercel, and cloudflare start at $20/mo. so i think i might just go with supporter?

I use Nearly Free Speech myself, and that's been about $1.50 a month for my site's ~250MB (scales with resource use). Definitely requires good knowledge of SSH/rsync/other remote file management software though; no GUI file dashboard.

Have't noticed any slowness issues. They actually just upgraded servers and distributed them more to reduce any issues there, too.
