Hi chief, reporting in. So far I've read only one book in full (though I've been busy with visual novels, and those are literature... right?? :D), but I'm genuinely picking up how much I've been missing out on, how valuable something with only one bright vision behind it can be. I'm really looking forward to reading more, all sorts of stuff.
As for what I've read, it was the childhood book I mentioned before, Knights of Forty Islands. A look at what could happen if you stole children from Earth, and forced them to fight for their freedom.

I've downloaded a bunch of public domain stuff, so I'm thinking of giving good ol' Gilgamesh a try. That's something I've wanted to experience that for a long time, so getting back into reading is a good extra reason :D
I don't expect it to be full of unexpected twists and novel ideas (I mean, we had some 4k years of literary tradition doing its thing since then), but there's some charming merit to going back and realizing how close people of the past were to us, so..
