One important point of nuance to add to this journal entry, it's not *efficiency*, it's *productivity*. Quantity over quality. AI can shit out as much code as you want, but if it's unmaintainable, runs suboptimally and just becomes a massive source of technical debt, then that is far from efficient. Idk what it's like where you live, but using AI isn't mandatory at my job yet, so I just don't use it when coding.
