Just got the new mac, and my first impressions are as follows: this is the single nicest piece of technology I have ever touched. Also MacOS sucks.

Good luck. One good thing to say about Apple is that my experience with the Safari browser was outstanding, more so than all other browsers. My only compliment to them.

So far it hasn't, honestly. All the things that I like about it are also in the Gnome desktop on linux, which is my preferred desktop anyway. But Gnome and linux also does so much more than MacOS doesn't/can't, so i suspect it will only ever just make me want to be using Gnome and Linux
the taxman paid me well in returns, so I bought a used 16 inch M1 Macbook Pro,so we'll see if I stlll hate MacOS

It was honestly cheaper than I expected!! I got the laptop for like 800 dollars, which is way less than I expected it to be. The touch ID doesn't work, but also I wouldn't use that anyway
