(frankly, it means a lot more to me that a handful of you meaningfully engage with my updates. Work has kicked my butt this summer and I haven't had time to return the favor as much as I'd like, but y'all make neat stuff too π₯Ί

do you know if there is a way to change your site tags on neocities? I havent been able to figure it out and chose a bunch of generic ones when i first set my site up

go to the top right panel, click your username and then profile. scroll to the bottom to see your tags. press the delete button, and pick one of your 5 tags to delete. then you should be able to add a new one

Plane? Landed. Navigation panel? Fixed on all pages to account to the new index page and new homepage URL.
right on :D they're so fun to watch, not to mention the nostalgia factor. I've been thinking about an old panasonic toughbook recently too. you have any specific ones in mind?
The thing I am trying to maximize right now is a 2011-era 11 inch Acer Aspire with a first gen low-power i3, with upgraded RAM and an SSD. It's still dog slow when it comes to installing stuff, but it handles indieweb stuff just fine! I'm writing this reply on it :p
The next thing I'd like to get my hands on is a Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga 11e. Basically the same idea as this Acer, but with better hardware. Finding something ~11 inches with a real hard drive instead of an old eMMC is tough.
ooo I like the sound of that Thinkpad Yoga. But even that little slow Acer Aspire, for some reason, it's just really fun to browse the indie web on those lower power machines. I managed to get Linux running on a C720 Chromebook with 2 gigs of ram and it can basically handle 2 or 3 tabs on Firefox and that's about it XD Silly fun to browse with though
