love having garbage internet. watching images load in line by line really adds that retro feel to the web surfing experience

i think more websites should have indication of whether a link opens in the same tab or a new tab. i already did that with my site; same-tab links have [[double square brackets]] and new-tab links have [single square brackets]. it's not particularly obvious and i feel like if it's not explained to you you'll have to learn it by clicking randomly. probably my inner game designer's "learn through experience" mentality

finally figured out why the gallery elements weren't behaving the way i wanted them too. turns out i wasn't styling the division containing the gallery entries AT ALL when i thought i was. oopsies.........
