Maybe if I remember I can add like, a secret page or something. That would be hilarious until it shows up in the activity feed and ruins it

Whenever I added secrets on my old site I would edit a comment on some random page and then delete the activity feed update, since that hides updates for the rest of the day. Of course I'm a little late now but something to keep in mind for next year.

I have to wonder how much the discussion surrounding generative AI and AI art is coloured by the "flesh vs steel" narrative. Art has always been viewed as a uniquely "human" thing and a lot of people seem to not like when that idea is challenged.

It's interesting how the voxel game scene doesn't really have much going on right now aside from Minecraft. Maybe it's because Minecraft overshadows every other voxel game or everyone decided Minecraft is "good enough" and the formula doesn't need to be experimented with much more.

Added a new entry to the gallery and edited the styling on gallery pages a bit
I wholeheartedly believe "gamedev isn't fun" is a lie invented by AAA studios to stop people from making better games than them. Game design and development is some of the most rewarding hobby work I've ever done.

Fixed the "sync with device" option for the colour theme and added a little bit of accessibility information on the games page
I also crunched all the PNG images and some non-PNG images with PNGGauntlet before uploading, which I'll continue doing from now on. Let me know if any images are broken.
I've noticed that as a consequence of fixing the automatic colour theme my site previews are appearing in light mode. I would like them to default to dark mode but I suppose I don't really mind...
