I find it kind of weird and ironic how Google benefits from Firefox's existence and vice versa. Google pays Mozilla to be the default search engine in Firefox, and in turn Google gets to use Firefox to avoid allegations of a browser engine monopoly

Replaced the option to hide the checker pattern in the background with an option to remove the background patterns altogether. If you have the option enabled the background will become a flat colour. You may need to hard refresh (ctrl+F5) for it to work properly

I really do hate the fact that the majority of Mozilla's income comes from deals with Google and other companies.
