If you can, rest quietly for an hour after work, either alone or with your bf. This may palliate some of your anxiety. Should your keyboard break again, consider temporary use of a virtual keyboard (which are ubiquitous on all contemporary OSes), or buy a lightweight USB keyboard. Logitech's are durable and reliable; I've been using mine since 2009.
