Reading the Reigen shrine and chuckling. True Reigen fans loathe him to their core but also toy with him like a filthy-yet-shiny object, and I think that's beautiful.

On a side-note, I actually agree on manga Reigen vs. the babygirlified anime version of him. I had a friend who couldn't stand the anime because of it, and liked how bland and ugly he looked because it suited his character perfectly. It's an underrated charm in ONE's art style to convey personality through simple and unrefined character designs.

God I relate to your friend so much. I just couldn't see the appeal of him in the anime no matter how hard I tried 💔 I really loved how raw & average he looked in the manga, even the choice of colors in the anime changes his vibe a lot (I remember complaining about his pink tie a long time ago lol)
