i kind of want to make my website look like a real website, and not... windows, but i dont want to lose all the work i've made on Niftows HP.

do both. Make seperate pages that are the current version of the website, and make the main website into the real website version

I agree with above - you can do both and keep Niftows a section of whatever page you decide to design.

so im starting a new project, neoapartments. it's gonna be a 21x5 grid, where everyone can submit one page. no extra pages, no redirects to your own site, (maybe a link or smth idk) just one page per cell. post on the feed of neoapartments on neocities if you're interested
