floating the idea of openly using deepseek to create a spanish version of the site. the enemy uses the tool to fill the void with slop, it doesn't make any sense to deny ourselves this tool when it can be used to reach many, many more people in the working class. transparency is key though, since most of our writers don't actively speak spanish.

wouldn't be a bad idea. i think google translate does the best at translating english to spanish, though. you'd definitely need some ppl you can trust to review the translations.
i can glance at stuff but i'm rusty when it comes to proper grammar/colloquial translations/etc
Just find a friend to proofread autotranslated posts going forward; old posts can be tossed into a translator no problem. Google sucks, but "AI" sucks worse. Going whole hog on integrating it into your site would seem to indicate to the prospective readership that you don't know anyone who fucks with you enough to help / aren't willing to learn yourself. Would be a huge L, imo. Just my two cents.
