i should contextualize. this comment was made MONTHS ago, but it still applies to my current layout (it hasnt been updated yet). i dont know how to express this but like,,, i dont know. i just dont feel good. it was never my intention to copy anyone and i didnt mean to copy anything especially "div-for-div".

i use a lot of websites as inspo, including swirl. its one thing to point out heavy inspo (which ive refrained from doing since i think it makes them uncomfortable) and just flat out lying.

im really sorry that someones saying that- I thinnk its totally ok and cool to take inspo and that's all you've been doing! like, when I saw your site I was just like ooh I can see that they were inspired by swirl but .. not *that* much. I love your site and I hope you're ok! :3

i appreciate that a lot! all in all i just found the comment to be not only insulting but also just... blatantly false. they claimed i was copying purinland's font color as well as their layout when... what? my font is pink and theirs was gray/black, and my setup was a lot less complex. no clue what any of that was about.

ur site is so so different from mine, just cause theyre both cute doesn't mean theyre copied or something.. im sorry someone said tha. theres a clear difference between copying and slight inspo :c

and u even gave inspo credits even if our sites r so different.. i rlly dont even understand why that user would say that

2023 was a rough one for me. i dont want to go into depth about what was happening, however i was in a situation that was dangerous for my mental health. i got out of said situation and i was incredibly drained, so i didn't have the energy to code anymore. i was constantly getting into drama as well and that took a lot out of me as well. however i promise ill repay u guys with some well deserved content :3

ive decided to return to this site after a looong hiatus. ill explain why i took such a long break. im going to recode my index page and give it a long overdue redesign. it might take a while since im so rusty at css, but ill get it done!
