a while ago I fixed my website for mobile, needless to say it's broken again but I need to be honest, I fucking despise dealing with mobile. I honestly consider it a worthless compromise. it's such a pain in the ass, It's not only android (which it's easy, linux), it's apple, dealing with apple is such a fucking ass, you never know what's actually working on it and what's not, they are stuck in 99 those fuckers.

Neocities changed the headless browser that gets thumbnails, I wrote a socketio app to find which browser they were using now, turns out it's Screenjesus. the code bellow should make it work again

Fixed some things, changed the ui a bit, added translations to Swedish, Finnish, simplified Chinese, French, Japanese, Spanish, Russian and Portuguese

Ditched Python and remade everything with NodeJS, not leaking anymore, however, I will need to remake the youtube thing I put together yesterday :*) or idk, throw in the trash. yeah that. it worked but it was too hacky

Made a radio system to work alongside the player api I made, it will play whatever I'm listening, just hover the player and a youtube player should appear above it, just turn the sound up, it auto plays the songs and should mostly be 1:1

at some point you are better just showing an interactive video or a picture of your desktop website. the only reason to deal with it was if I was actually a business and even then, can you really think of people dealing with business on mobile in websites? most of them just redirect the user to their social media (something I also don't want to deal with or care about)
Nothing can be fun anymore, what's the point of technology when we can't even be stupid with it, be creative, be bold or anything, (you can't do that, it's not intuitive enough) Who the hell gives a fuck? not me! may be because i'm retarded? possibly, but that's the fun part of the entire thing.

You're completely correct. I don't bother to optimize for mobile, it adds too much complexity to sites. Either use desktop mode in landscape or deal with it.
