the good thing about learning how to use 11ty is once I get everything set up I don't have to worry nearly as much about 100% completing a layout before moving a page to it... I just gotta motivate myself to set it up at some point (and figure out what I want to do about individual page skins)

I think at this point I'm just gonna limit how many bigger pages I follow on here because this is the 3rd time someone went on a bigoted temper tantrum on one of them & considering the neocities block function's useless it's the only way to get them off my dash :(

it sucks bc it's not even the webmaster's fault it's because people treat larger pages here as a spam/posting board bc it'll reach more people. Starting to get why people are considering moving more often now

@murid Yeah. Like afaik all it does is prevent them from following & posting on your profile. I can kinda get why accessing your site wouldn't get blocked but not blocking all of their comments? that's just strange

Under-the-hood changes today. While I'm not close to finished with the site's new layout, I'm setting up a few pages that won't get ported right away (labs pages, important project pages) so they won't break later on when I do more coding & site cleanup 🧹

(also mad at myself for not learning how to use a static site generator earlier... could've negated the need for a JS nav entirely & made setting up navigation less of a pain
