The name of a thing is often reflective of the spirit that animates it, although, this is often more readily apparent with personal names rather than collective ones. I strongly agree that many of those organizations are akin to giant idols. They lack power because they are made with human hands, yet people still insist on worshipping them. In their pride, they fall.
