I'm really happy to have found Bessis' book through your latest entry, it is definitely going high on my list of to-reads. About a year ago on Neocities I was recommended MacLane's book "Mathematics, Form and Function" where MacLane draws analogies between basic human actions and their abstract mathematical counterparts, to make similar points as Bessis.

A couple hours debugging LaTeX... sounds about right. I'm excited to see what you have in store though!

the first thing i tried worked, i just forgot to add a link to the stylesheet. then i wasted 2 hours doing increasingly complicated tweaks to the SSG i use for no reason before realizing what i did wrong haha
