the base code is based of Boards, which itself is written in a mix of C and Node programs all calling upon eachother. my method of doing things is quite shitty... i recommend starting out using firebase, as it works on neocities! i first used firebase to get a hold on backend design and routing maaanyy moons ago :P

While I was working on the widget, I came up with another suggestion for the api which is to add a count for the number of posts visible. I am making a badge for my site but the main problem I have is that there are too many posts for the size of my badge.

you can limit the scope of the returned JSON in your JavaScript!! just select the top one of the whole array :P

it seems like piki has already formed two separate bubble communities?! just poking around in the database, it looks like there's a larger section of the site where everyone follows me and, for the most part, each other. but then there's this much smaller group that all seem to follow each other but don’t follow me or my extended community... i was thinking itd take at least a month to form two bubbles!!
