I just had a epiphany. I am addicted to internet drama. Like actually, I feed off my own anger and presumed "weirdness" and it's getting unhealthy. I've tried to start "normalfagging" and sticking to "normie sites" and yet I always find a way back to the most infuriating parts of the internet. If you see yourself doing this, do NOT let it get to this point.
Normalfagging on social-media is the problem, uninstall apps and use the sites on browser if you can't delete outright for whatever reason. And on computer, install Arch or Gentoo Linux then run everything through terminals except browser, but make your non-terminal browser VERY schizo (and use uMatrix too).
for me, realizing that going back to those parts (for me was toxic parts of twitter) was a compulsion and i am fully capable of resisting those compulsions. i have ocd though, so it may not be the same for you. i have leechblock on firefox as well
If any of you guys have struggled with so-called "internet addiction" and overcame it, please give your tips. I BEG!!
Im just gonna smash my 'puter, buy a i386 laptop and install Emacs+GCC, and never talk to any of you freaks again (jk I love y'all)
Uninstall apps and delete accounts. Remove it from the vicinity of your mindless doomscroll routine.

Also, I think you might mean "epiphany." A euphemism is a word you substitute to say something more politely.
if u have an iphone, u can use assistive access as a sort of "focus mode", its useful for me too

@mooface this might be it. ocd runs in my family so i wouldn't be surprised if I had it too. I shall check out the leech block extension! thank you!!
