I enjoy the world building of demonology such that I wish interest in it would not suggest genuine belief in its existence. Cause I don't believe in demons, but the aesthetics are cool
definitely seconded. extends to pretty much every religion, mythology, and occultism for me i think. it's fascinating the stories people come up with, but it's usually hard to explain cool or weird stuff to ppl without sounding a bit crazy myself
