My grandfather, who raised me with my parents, is dying. He was put into hospice yesterday. I am not handling it well, as you might imagine. I've written about this in my diary but never made a full, proper piece about it. He has dementia, and is in the final stages of it. I'm gonna write something for him, something to help him be immortalized somehow. I cannot let him be forgotten so easily.

He is one of the greatest men I have ever met, and I want his story and who he was to be archived. I won't give personal details, but I want to make sure some piece of who he was is saved
