I really relate to your web preservation article... so many times I've gone to try to find a game or video from my childhood and found out it was gone! The worst of it for me was when this old drawing site called Sketchfu shut down, quite a few years ago. I decided I didn't care about all my 'old, cringe' art, so I never saved any. I really regret it now :(
