house update. i attended my first condo board meeting. my house is a townhouse with 7 other houses in the block. the only thing the houses share, which the condo board must manage, is a driveway... and yet the meeting devolved into intense passive aggressive conflict within 15m. i was so stressed out. what have i gotten myself into

I estimate there is a 50% chance that I run for my neighborhood's HOA board purely out of spite by the time I turn 40
I have never heard of anyone having a functional, polite condo board EVER.
