Quick update from my friend's GoFundMe: tl;dr since it won't fit on here: funds raised will keep their lights on and car from getting repo'd. they're working through some additional local aid stuff.

WOOOO Minecraft works on Fedora and I was able to get onto a server. Some friends invited me to join them sometime soon. I've played like, 4 hours of solo minecraft in my life so hopefully all goes well

There are two ways to get it working: Mojang's website has a launcher for Debian and Arch based distros, then another for "other distributions." Looks like that's an AppImage. The other option (the one I'm doing) is through Flathub. You can get it through your software manager, or through this link: https://flathub.org/apps/com.mojang.Minecraft
