got through my first tornado warning since moving. close call, had to take shelter. had around 35 college age kiddos and a couple dogs in tow. the perks of living close to work!
living in either tornado or dixie alley sounds terrifying, i remember hunkering down through a tornado warning on my road trip to move northeast. i guess people get used to it but i sure didnt!
I've lived in tornado alley my entire life so I've never experienced a spring that didn't have the threat of Big Wind causing a raucous. I had a couple years of handling it really badly but I'm getting back to normal "alert but not panic attack" levels again though!
I'd rather go through an unusually active tornado season than a bad hurricane though. hurricanes freak me out with how huge and powerful they are. no thanks
