the whole reason i (personally) came to neocities is to get away from the "followings matter" shit that social media is all about. i really don't care if people don't view my site, it's for me!!! i love talking to myself!!! and if i make friends along the way then hey ho life is good!! i don't even care if people i follow don't follow me back, i'm following them because i enjoy their content;

^^^^ honestly i thought the same thing, i think f+f was a good idea in concept but it kinda undermines the idea of neo*cities* imo
