what made you change from hosting on neocities to leprd? ^_^ <3 if thats okay to ask! or if you ever make an article talking abt it id love to read!

neocities don't give me the banhammer for this but I have to preach the gospel of server side includes...it makes everything so much more convenient holy God I'm never going back to hosting here

The whole reason I moved hosts! Seconding this- if you're at a point where you're repeating the same code on a ton of pages and it's hard to maintain, SSI is SO worth the move.
play/pause animation buttons are implemented yayyy!!!! also if you have javascript disabled you'll be redirected to a no-js version of the page just using details elements. also still working on that but i've been looking forward to this yippee!!

oh i just saw this, thank you! it's actually pretty simple once you understand media queries and breakpoints though, it's not that impressive :>
(since neocities doesn't have a reply back feature) banned from neocities. I have no idea why but some people I know have gotten banned lately which was INITIALLY why I wanted to switch to leprd, but one got banned and isn't sure if it's bc they were

it's totally okay to ask! I had 2 main reasons to move 1
FUCK neocities stop sending my messages early. okay. sorry. 1. a couple people I knew got banned from neocities, their sites were eventually restored but it made me nervous
2. I was really tired of having to copy and paste updates to my nav over every page of my site, so the ability to use PHP and server side includes was a huge draw and can now confirm it's great.
I'm definitely very happy over there. im definitely still wanting to keep a presence here but i feel like neocities is really restrictive in not allowing stuff like PHP or SSI

chiming in to add that i was one of those people claire's talking about lol. there's a post on my blog about this. i've also since moved my main hosting elsewhere
