Basically, Tumblr is rolling out a Dashboard change that makes the site look like a twitter clone. No one is liking it & while we still have the chance to bully staff into not making it perminent, people are already considering jumping ship

Also @stormeko same here π₯² it sucks because even when I left the first time I missed a lot of tumblr's functionality so seeing them deadset on removing it (and not fixing actual issues) blows

New post archive: a longer summary of thoughts of an april fools thing I ran on twitter this year where I pretended to be a clickbait news account
looking to upload more post archives, not sure if I should label them with the date they were originally posted or the day I archived it here (there are some cases it'd make sense to do the latter, like my yearly art summaries. But others or ones with some revisions it wouldn't be as important)

I could probably add a prefix to archive posts (like [OLD] - post title, but when post archives are most of what i'm planning on putting on the everlogs it might get redundant)

I've decided to use this subsite mostly as a text post archive for now & changed the wording to fit. Also adding some sections to the 'featured' page to prepare for a few posts I'm planing on backing up soon
Looking to back up a few threads & textposts onto this site. Not a fan of where other sites are going + I'd like to keep a few of these threads free to read logged out thank you

Some of them are about my art but one is a thread about abandonware. Considering how scarce info on it is, I'd rather not keep that to a login only site (it's vocalwriter for those interested)
