I used it a few years back on a couple of very long plane rides. It works well enough nicotine delivery. It really just depends on whether or not you care about how you get your nicotine. For me, cigs are the "natural" way to do it, so gum would not substitute for very long. But if you prefer chewing gum over inhaling, then it should work fine for you, I would think.

There are several "strengths" of gum you can get. I got one of the milder ones.
Thanks, I think it'll be fine for me then, I just worry about my poor lungs so I don't want to go back to inhaling
