iirc correctly, background graphics were made using a mix of emboss, noise, blur, and additive effects

on a happier note; vil came over yesterday and we spent the whole time cuddling and smooching while watching some FIRE YouTube videos. she sweeeeaaaarrsss she's not a "stupid stinky lesbo" and "would never fall for a dark-skinned monkey". whatever.. I also pirated Class of 09 and installed it for her since she doesn't have a PC that can run it, she spent a good 30 minutes playing that game until I said I was bored :P
