I've added a bit of clarification about the webring generation process! Feel free to ask any questions or anything. In fact I'd be glad to help other people start their own webrings using ringfairy, too.

Hey, sorry for the delay! The reason why your ghostring links weren't working was your slug was listed as `wraithglade` instead of `WraithGlade`, but I've fixed that for you. It shouldn't matter which symbols, icons, or characters you use for the link. In fact, images and < button >s should work too. Btw I love your site!!!

Another update: Today I noticed that on mobile browsers (both Firefox and Chrome) the arrows for the previous and next links (I picked compass-rose-like unicode ones) were not displaying, whereas they always displayed on desktop. I changed my links to use the same unicode chars as Ghostring's own site now though. Is that sufficient to fix the problems with my site's links being detected?

So, I went ahead and removed the "emsp" (emdash-length spaces) from between the Ghostring main link and the previous/next links. Doing so makes the resulting formatting less visually pleasing, but I'm still guessing that's the most likely source of problems for my links not working. I haven't heard back from you so I just figured I'd go ahead and do it and see if your program will pick up the change.

Interestingly, I received a new notification for this message on 2025-10-17 at 2:23 AM that was worded exactly as if it were the first notificaiton of your comment helping to fix my site's presence on Ghostring. I wonder why that happened. Perhaps the Neocities admins did some update that caused old comments to get sent back out or perhaps the internal state of some sites was latered on 2025-10-17 somehow. Thoughts?
