sorry if it's weird to comment here, but don't feel too bad about turning 18 and not being like everyone else. i still feel like i'm "behind" on a lot of things, but some people are just late bloomers. college seems really stressful too, from what i've heard from my friends who went. i think you'll start feeling more like an adult in your early-mid 20s if that makes you feel any better

second sunfish! im a 3rd yr in college rn and most people have no clue what they're doing lol.. life just happens to us all- i know it's hard but no matter how things shake you, youll be ok you gotta trust that ^_^ <3 enjoy what u can, if you can!

i’m totally in the same boat with you. we just need to take a deep breath — soon this phase of our lives will be over. being 18 doesn’t mean you magically have everything figured out. it’s your first time living, please spend it being kind to yourself <3

I’m 21 and the feeling of being behind your peers or not being grown up enough never went away, and I’m sure everyone has similar thoughts to an extent. I think it’s especially common within our generation. Just be kind to yourself and enjoy life as it comes, don’t hurry!
