There's been a weird uptick in the most childish behavior towards women in WoW lately (specifically in classic servers in the horde). like, declaring every woman is secretly a guy, tons of sexual harrassment and bullying, huge amounts of sexism etc. specifically in lfg

I don't have this issue in alliance for some reason, or in retail for either alliance or horde. And honestly specifically mists of pandaria servers. Idk what's up with that but its annoying, and puts me off leveling my troll shaman in mop
i don`t know wow much, but maybee it has to do something with the german twitch community. there was a really really big wow-classic twitch event called "sauercrowd", which may lead to more and new (and perhaps younger) players from germany in wow-classic. in germany we sadly experience also a kind of backlash when it comes to feminist topics and progressive attitudes in generell
