is there any actual downside to uploading your files to neocities question mark..... i only use other file hosting for audio and video files, everything else (images and fonts mainly) i just upload to my folders and im only at 23% storage

i think it's more so for convenience... i also only use hosting sites to avoid filling up storage (ᵕ—ᴗ—) but there are some files i will upload to neocities i use them interchangeably
i upload everything except my art pieces and music files to the folder. neocities is kinda insanely nice with how much storage they give you, especially for free
I guess if you have very large files then it might be trouble. I see no downsides. I'm using less than 1% for what I have so far. For art and images, you can scale them down.
Not that I've come across, no. With how much I've uploaded I'm still only at 1%. Neocities gives a ton of storage.
I don't think so, but the reason I used FG was because I traversed through tens of jp sozai sites and I don't wanna bloat my NC storage with files I don't use, I usually transfer them to my NC after I'm done with the page but I get lazy,, hence the broken pages lesson learned ig!
