This was the intention when I created my site. Turns out it's fun talking to people and reading their reactions!

Honestly though, reading people's comments kinda gives a new purpose to your site. I probably still intent to do stuff the way I want to and keep the microblog separate and kinda hidden, but it opens up possibilities - do I want this post to be read or is it mostly for me? Just a thing I can do now

Thanks for reminding me I literally can't update it now (errors out) and have to find a fix so my system doesn't break when I least expect it. > Why does the kernel lose its mind over HDMI? lol > I still prefer the occasional linux brainrot over windows I don't know anymore. I now resent both but at least all the creative software I use works on Windows. So I'm kinda forced to use it. And I debloated it so hard it b-

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghoti https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/English-language_spelling_reform Yeah, English is also a pet-peeve of mine. Inconsistent phonetics are confusing, bothersome, and makes learning harder for no real benefit at all. However, it's also too much work/money/time to do some kind of reform. I forgot about ghoti, thanks for the reminder (could also have said remainder here, reads the same lol) Also take a look at this shit: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Lists_of_common_misspellings/Homophones I have a personal list of word spellings that make no sense. For example wind and rewind - why does the entire word's pronounciation change if we prepend "re" to it? I will share the list when I remember

Previous alterations section in the spelling reform article you sent is very interesting. They fucked up English more while trying to fix it!

Exactly. There's no consensus on what makes language "better". That's why previous attempts were highly controversial, and arguably made things worse.

@alpx maybe you'll like constructed languages like Ithkuil? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ithkuil

@rainight I'm somewhat familiar with conlangs actually. But the thing is; unless there's a significant community that uses the language, and a rich body of literature written in it, it essentially becomes useless. But they sure are interesting as a hobby/project though.
Masafumi Takada is a genius, I love the Danganronpa soundtrack(s).
