Don't use linux if you value your sanity

I confirm you as a 19 years long Linux user. Yes fanboys will annoyingly claim otherwise, which actually prevents the situation getting better. You might be interested in my thread here https://forum.digdeeper.rodeo/viewtopic.php?p=1142#p1142 Yet, I still prefer losing my sanity over dealing with big corpo OSes that I consider evil.

I commend your persistence. You reminded me that I actually tried driving Tails some years ago when I wanted to stay away from corpos as much as possible. Now I'm running a heavily modified Windows ISO with various software to make sure this shit never calls home, it's one of the very few non-free things I allow near me. I wish I had the time and patience to use Linux daily as I really love it and the idea of it.

But now I'm just dualbooting and I always end up on Windows because I can't get something running on Linux. Good post btw, way more technical and in-depth than mine, more than just "linux it doesn't work" lol.

Have you watched the anime of Steins;Gate, as well? If yes how was it? I have it on my watch list for a long time now I guess I'll finnally start with it now.

No! But it's on my radar as well. Some people swear it's better than the VN but I have no idea how they managed to pack whole 50 hours of the game in just 8 hours of the anime - so I can't assure you of its quality, but I guess it's good, judging by what people say. I'd say go with it, it's probably a masterpiece as well (the anime also has some exclusive scenes not seen in the VN whichareextremelygoodfromwhatiheard)
