From what I see neocities is supposed to unfollow blocked websites. Maybe it updates after a delay, as I'm still in your followed sites and can leave comments Edit: after testing I conclude that neocities' blocking is broken and does nothing. You'll have to unfollow me manually

I can understand your rant being about pointing out an inconsistency but coming to the conclusion that we should just let minors watch it anyways is an insane take. The original sentiment you're combating is just that: a sentiment. The *real* reason why we shouldn't show it to minors is because it causes psychological damage and makes them more susceptible to grooming. This is a phenomenon that is widely documented.

Yup, it was mostly about that sentiment I don't agree with. The post is about pornography not being as unrealistic as people make it out to be. I am not advocating for letting minors watch it without restrictions. That would be fucked up. But I don't want to put 100 disclaimers before anything that can be misinterpreted so I don't offend anyone (see rambling about clarifying). Thank you for your input!!

I still however dislike the discrepancy. Is sex at 17 less harmful than watching pornography? If you have studies about this or can point me in the right direction I'm happy to learn and edit the post.

A while ago discord suspended my account because I said the word goy in a message. Speaking of goyim, I never understood all the attention the GTA series has been getting. Playing a game about degeneracy doesn't sound all that appealing to me. I guess that says something about the state of culture.

I wish I could say what I got my discord account suspended for but knowing the internet it could be interpreted in various unanticipated ways. I got my discord account suspended like 3 times, the first one was back in 2016 when I still had its client installed on my PC and ran LOIC on some random website. It's a lot, I agree, but I don't think it matters. You install it once, possibly for one site only and I doubt you'd feel the 150mb of disk space taken. It's the only one ssg I liked of jekyll, hugo, eleventy, and of course astro. Each one of them had some drawback and I decided that Astro has less wrong with it, considering the crazy amount of power it gives you

Also remember that only us, nerds, care whether it's 50mb or 150mb for a static site generator. People barely use the storage they have

It's great that it works for you. The main deal breaker for me is not the size. It's npm/javascript/node_modules which from past experiences led me to pain or dependency hell. Also: $ npm ls --all --parseable | tail -n +2 | wc -l 187 Astro has 187 dependencies. That's a lot o_o I'm happy with Hugo, but if it didn't exist I'd probably write my own like @vhimu. I'm curious, what are your experiences with other ssgs?

Hugo I found difficult to customize and its docs were pretty shit. Even now that I'm looking at them I feel lost. So much to click through. May be a skill issue since you customized your hugo site a lot. And Jekyll is just a piece of outdated garbage.

Terrible setup, as you mentioned, dependency hell, high chance that something breaks, abysmal customization, and even its own docs warn you that if you use latest ruby it might break. It's outdated and clunky to use

I also relate to python breaking :D I agree hugo docs can be better.

Mostly minor stuff. Added more gripes to the English article, added a Danganronpa tierlist to stuff and made the Mikan Tsumiki switcher pretty.

My favorite feature on this website was improved, yay! :D
