PSA: Start saving Youtube videos and Drive archives you like; Google will delete everything linked to accounts that haven't been used in 2 years starting on December.

I wish that were true, but they haven't cited any source (and neither I trust Google to keep their word), so I will take it with a grain of salt for now... 💔
Turns out Googe edited their post yesterday to mention they don't plan to remove accounts who uploaded videos. Still, saving the ones you like won't do any harm.
As if imgur's latest trick wasn't enough.
Also! If possible upload it to the internet archive! Especially if the channel owner has died!
