i am appropriately chuffed and honoured to get a little spotlight, what a treat! also I think your section on writing raises some good questions I've been pondering myself about audience and purpose, and what they do to creative endeavours. don't have any solid answers. much to think about

Wow! Thank you so much for responding to my piece, Mike. Glad to be part of issue #1. It's so easy to forget that when I put writing out into the world someone might actually read and respond to it. (Also I found a typo in my writing because you quoted it.)
