Very raw, real feelings nowadays. I can't even pay attention to the news for more than a half-hour without deep-seated anxiety overtaking me. The unabashed, no-holds-barred fascism is terrifying to witness.
Reading about your friend Eddie actually made me think of an old internet friend of mine who also died by suicide. I didn't learn of her death until months after it happened and her Facebook page was covered in eulogies. As a result I find myself quick to message friends/mutuals who get a little too quiet during bouts of depressive posting.
