ive noticed that during the latter section of mad magazines run they were absolute garbage at doing parodies of comedy tv shows

instead of like, criticising them in any way they mostly just stuck to pretty much just writing an episode of the show just with dumb name changes
the 30 rock "parody" is a particularly irritating example of this if youve seen the show
