Many of the themes haven't changed! I just added some spice to some super old ones which haven't been edited since 2021 (and chattable has a lot of new things to customize now)

Feels too smooth and clean, but reading your article about the decision makes me appreciate it. I can admit there have been times where I've given up one something just because the site isn't easy to understand. (Github repositories, if that's what they're called, always get me. I can never naviagte them easily)

The Kick Theme/Demo just got a big redesign with a frutiger-aero look. This theme was made in reference to Kik Messenger but never really looked the part. Now it does!

New theme for Chattable called bytechat, a fun reference to bitchat if you guys have heard of it. It's a decentralized messaging app that uses tor & a bluetooth mesh network to work when it has no access to internet or cellular. It's cool, you can chat with strangers in "rooms" too, much like Chattable

Kyle says he's investigating the URL parameter issue. This will determine if I change hosts back to Neocities for Chattable. I like the platform, as a form of posting updates & seeing updates but if it withers my site's functionality it defeats the usefulness.

It's easier to navigate, more accessible for those with disabilities, looks cleaner on my portfolio, and I like bootstrap. With as many new users I get every month I want to make navigation as easy as possible which started with improving the dashboard and led to overhauling everything.

Edit: Kyle provided a workaround solution which I was already aware of but it required me to change the links in each of your iframes (not possible) so I'm choosing to stay self hosted but will continue to post and comment on Neocities.

This could be used to add minigames to messages, or attach videos or audio files to messages.

I have a problem with this. Some people might use that feature to embed HTMLs with JS exploits.
Only the chat owner & it's set moderators can send attachments due to this reason.
