On AI: If you take skill and vision out of art, what's left? I got into a weirdly bitter argument with a friend over whether AI art was 'as good' as conventional art.
I really don't think they can be compared. Art is all about the process, Ai just imitates the end point. And those who "make" AI art calling themselves artists is stupid since mechanically, ai img generation works like commissions. THat's like some dipshit 15th ctr King calling himself an artist because he had a portrait drawn of him, a portrait in which the artist btw probably hid some mockery, bc humans can do that
