Before you even brought up that L and R aren't used I was already baffled by the button combination for shooting. I love Solomon's Key a lot and always wished someone would make an expanded version with more levels and mechanics akin to Lode Runner Mad Monk's Revenge, but looks like this still isn't it ahaha. Holding out for a Solomon's Key level editor to this day!
