After Gravitar came Thrust, absolutely brilliant game. More gifs and a link to play it online in your browser as well, which you should!
I never managed to get into Yakuza but I love your recreation of the in-game site. That sort of thing is my jam, look forward to more posts!

A look back at Gravitar and Atari's attempt to remake it in 2022. I feel like that guy that climbed that mountain hundreds of times just because it was there, but with old gravity based videogames (a lot harder than climning a mountain).

your article on tomb raider rly "gets it:" magic is real, black fog, etc.
would be curious to see your reviews on other tr games like chronicles, 90's need for speed, or mech warriors (only bc i have a bit of skin in those games, heh) i'll be sticking around for whatever you review

I have a soft spot for Psygnosis. Whether or not their games are actually good is a bit of a coin flip, but they're reliably interesting and unique and charming (and are responsible for publishing some of the most underappreciated games on the Mega Drive IMO). The mouse controls in Lander mimicking a joystick remind me of the optional mouse controls in Tomb Raider II on Mac, which behave similarly and are also awful!
