Resisting my urges to name-drop all of my favourite virtual and real-world pinball tables right now, ahahaha. I also loved Sonic Pinball Party and often bring it up as a good entry point for someone wanting to learn Pinball. MPM looks like charming fun too, and I do have a bit of fondness for the Muppets, so this will be on my ever growing backlog too. Hope you're holding up well in the midst of bad news/work!

@MSX Thank you so much, among other things my dog died, she was nearly 16 but my best friend so still very hard to take. Crazy coincidence you're a pinhead I never meet pinball people here in the UK! Please do, what's your top real table and virtual one?

Losing a pet is always awful, I've experienced that pain and grief myself twice now, but the time with those pets are always worth it. As for pinball, in terms of digital pinball I'm a fan of Digital Pinball: Necronomicon on Saturn, as well as Pinball Fantasies on Amiga (specifically the Amiga version). The physics in those games still are a bit floaty but feel good overall and are ahead of other games of that time.

For modern pinball games, I really like Visual Pinball, especially because of how customisable it is. My favourite physical table is probably Scared Stiff, but I also really like Funhouse as well. Ever since I moved to another city I haven't been able to find any local physical pinball tables, and I've been going into withdrawal!

I have 4 reviews on the go, but instead of doing them I'm starting making gifs for all my old articles. Believe it or not I genuinely don't have too much spare time, it just looks that way.

I actually nearly got the Mac version of Fate of Atlantis, alongside Day of the Tentacle and Sam & Max, as I had placed a bid on an auction for a collection of them, but I accidentally slept through the auction's closing time and my bid got sniped. Kicking myself more now for missing out on that auction after reading this!
oh no!!! LOL if i had seen it at age 8 i would probably be also scarred for life. as an adult though, it's very entertaining to watch, especially with friends
Yeah funnily enough it didn't make me scared of clowns at all, just scared of scary clowns (and gore and death). I did watch it years later and it was fun but it still lurks back there in the uncoscious somewhere!
i guess it helps that they are aliens and not real clowns 😆
