Happy to see people having different opinions on neocities/nekoweb communities and I have some same pet peeves like ya, especially the DNI and eyestrain (Sometimes), so still thank you for tell it out, I'm still thinking about make a mobile version for my personal website.
Exactly why I got rid of my splash page, it was starting to annoy *me* (who I assume is the most frequent visitor to my webpage), and I thought, what even is the point of this thing? So I got rid of it a few months ago. All your other tips/ideas are useful as well, thanks for publishing this ^^
