use vscode or something then upload it. i use github actions to publish my site every time i commit it to github
I typically use vim out of habbit, although like flvffywvffy said, vscode (or vscodium if you want an entirely open source variant) has a lot of convenient stuff for pushing updates to neocities via git
I use phcode just because it's much easier than vscode
my computer is really old and vs code isn't compatible

i personally use codepen for every project i make! it has made things for me so much easier
i basically have to to get anything done, my changes have to be near instant for me to get the self feedback my adhd asks of me
